Louise A. Schultz, 77, of Orefield, died Aug. 3, 2024. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Laird and Kathryn (Lichtenwalner) Smith. She grew up on a family farm in Upper Macungie Township.

She was a graduate of Parkland High School, Class of 1965. She followed a family tradition by attending Kutztown University for teaching.

She ran her own preschool, Peanuts Nursery School. She later worked and retired from Lehigh County.

She was best known for her worldly travels, her outgoing personality and her volunteer work for many local organizations.

She was an active member of the Macungie Women’s Club.

She is survived by a son, Joseph and his wife, Tracey; daughters, Rebecca Sisko, Kristine Horn; grandchildren, Liam and Ryan Horn, Timothy and Kathryn Sisko, Joseph and Erica; great-granddaughter, Josie Horn. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Smith.
