Leonard “Lenny” J. McKittrick, 74, of Catasauqua, died Aug. 4, 2024. He was the husband of Irene (Popowycz) for 44 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Eddez McKittrick.

He graduated from Catasauqua High School.

He worked for 35 years at Western Electric, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Agere Systems.

He served as a volunteer for Catasauqua Fire Department and ambulance corps. He also served as a part-time police officer in Catasauqua.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Matthew; a daughter-in-law, Kaitlyn; two granddaughters, Cameryn and Caroline; a brother, Brian and his wife Jean; a sister-in-law, Anna Kopchak; two brothers-in-law, Joe and wife Teresa and Mike and wife Laurie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by in-laws, John and Maria Popowycz; and a brother-in-law, Joe Kopchak.
