Stop by Coplay Public Library’s table during Coplay Community Days, set for Aug. 23-25 at Coplay Parkway on North Second Street, to visit with the board. They will be selling pull-tab tickets, and all proceeds benefit the library.

The library is closed Aug. 31-Sept. 2 for the Labor Day holiday. It will reopen 10 a.m. Sept. 3.

Thank you to all the businesses, organizations and individuals who contributed gift cards, monetary donations and merchandise for the 2024 summer reading program at the library.

Preschool storytimes and free movie Saturdays will resume in September.

Shopping passes for Boscov’s Friends Helping Friends fundraising event are here. Passes cost $5, and 100% of this donation goes to the library.

Enjoy a discount on your in-store purchases 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Oct. 22 and have a chance to win a Boscov’s gift card.

Teens and adults, the Fabric Arts and Friends group meets 1-2 p.m. Wednesdays. Learn to crochet, knit and more. All skill levels are welcome!

Bring your current project or start a new one. We have extra yarn and knitting/crochet needles for you to use if needed.

The library’s summer hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays-Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.

The library’s school year hours start Aug. 26. The library will be open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
