2024 SR N.C. vouchers

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY AREA AGENCY ON AGING

County Executive Lamont G. McClure and Area Agency on Aging remind eligible County residents about the continuation of the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Vouchers worth fifty dollars are available to Northampton County residents age 60 or over with proof of age and residence; and who meet the 2024 eligibility income eligibility ($27,861/yr. for a single person and $37,814 for a couple). For married couples, both spouses may obtain coupons. The program does not include seniors who live in nursing homes, convents or residential facilities where meals are provided.

Eligible County residents may email completed applications to FMNP@norcopa.gov or mail completed applications to Northampton County AAA, 2801 Emrick Blvd., Bethlehem, PA 18020. The vouchers will be mailed to their home. Residents may also visit the Northampton County Human Services Building, 2801 Emrick Blvd,. Bethlehem, PA 18020 with valid ID and pick-up the vouchers on the same day. Distribution hours and days are 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursdays. The vouchers are distributed by the Northampton County Area Agency on Aging. Persons may only receive coupons once during the program which runs until September 13, 2024. A proxy may obtain coupons for another person only if they have a completed and signed proxy forms for up to four other participants. Identification with date of birth and address of the older adult(s) must be shown when presenting a proxy.
