Lehigh County Executive Phillips Armstrong has been re-elected to represent District 2 in the National Association of Regional Councils.

District 2 is comprised of four states: Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware, a news release states.

The National Association of Regional Councils serves as the national voice for regions by advocating for regional cooperation as the most effective way to address a variety of community planning and development opportunities and issues.

NARC members include regional councils, councils of governments, regional planning and development agencies, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, and other regional organizations.
