Ray H. Ziegler

Ray H. Ziegler, 94, died on Aug. 3, 2024, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

He was the widower of Leah K. (Rupp) Ziegler.

Born in Fogelsville, he was the son of the late Homer and Mammie (Fritzinger) Ziegler.

He earned an Associate degree from Penn State University and was coordinator for inventory control for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Company until 1995.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fogelsville, and served on the consistory, as secretary and treasurer.

He also served on the Fogelsville Cemetery Board for 44 years as secretary.

He was a member of the Fogelsville Fire Company, serving as the financial secretary and was on the fire team for many years.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

His survivors include brother-in-law Fred Rupp; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister Anna.

His services will be 11 a.m. Aug. 8 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St. Fogelsville.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.

Interment at Fogelsville Union Cemetery.
