Mary Kachmar, 90, of Northampton, died July 31, 2024. She was the wife of the late John Kachmar.

Born in Hokendauqua, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Susanna (Lucas) Harakal.

She worked in the cafeteria for Northampton Area School District.

She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and Young at Heart senior group.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Skrapits and husband Andrew and Karen Glassic and husband Ronald; five grandchildren, Nicole Maisonave and husband Anibal, Kristen Urbina and husband Jon, Michael Glassic and wife Shannon, Brian Skrapits and wife Elizabeth and Bethany Skrapits and fiance Somar Hanna; and three great-grandchildren, Raegan, Emery and Viviana Rose.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Andrew and John Harakal; and a sister, Margaret Yandrisevits.
