David P. Schaller, 71, of Northampton, died Aug. 3, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Care, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Diane M. (Hunsberger) Schaller.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank and Walma (Keiser) Schaller.

He was a 1971 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He was employed as a technician in the trim and chroming department of the former Dent Manufacturing Company, Northampton.

He attended Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton.

He was a member, former fireman and past secretary of Northampton Volunteer Fire Department for many years.

He is survived by three daughters, April M. of Coplay, Valerie A. of Whitehall and Jennifer L. of Northampton; four granddaughters, Charissa, Jessica, Chloe and Page; a sister, Nancy and husband Joseph Cappolella of Bethlehem; two brothers, Frank and Garry, both of Whitehall; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Janet Buss and Sharon Stein.

There will be a calling time 10 a.m., followed by a service 11 a.m., Aug. 8 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.
