Students named to dean’s list

Commonwealth University congratulates more than 2,180 students who were named to the spring 2024 dean’s list. The list, prepared at the end of each semester, recognizes those students who have achieved academic distinction.

To qualify for this honor, a student must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, in 12 or more semester hours of letter grades.

Students named to president’s list

Rochester Institute of Technology

Dean’s list is announced

The following students were named to the dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring semester of the 2023-24 academic year. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for this honor if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.4; they do not have any grades of incomplete, D or F; and they have registered for and completed at least 12 credit hours.

Scott, Auger graduate

Rochester Institute of Technology conferred nearly 4,500 degrees at all of its campuses in the 2023-24 academic year, including to Hope Scott, of Northampton, and Jacob Auger, of Danielsville. RIT’s academic convocation celebration was held in May and featured remarks by Patricia “Pattie” Moore, a distinguished designer and trailblazing alumna of the Class of 1974. Scott received a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering and a Master of Science in industrial and systems engineering, and Auger received a Bachelor of Science in software engineering.

SUNY Canton

Pecht graduates

Arthur J. Pecht, of Coplay, has graduated from SUNY Canton with a Bachelor of Technology degree in funeral services administration. The college’s 116th commencement ceremony was held May 11 in the Roos House Convocation, Athletic and Recreation Center.

Dean’s list is announced

Seton Hall University is pleased to announce Matthew Schroyer, of Bath, has qualified for the spring 2024 dean’s list. After the close of every semester, undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than C, qualify for this honor.
