Allen Township is holding an electronics recycling event, set for 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 10 at Allen Township Fire Company, 3530 Howertown Road. This event is for Allen Township residents only, and proof of residency is required.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, is hosting its Back the Blue motorcycle ride Aug. 10. It will start at the association grounds and end at Boatyard Bar and Grill, 251 Canal St., Lehighton.

Registration begins 10 a.m., and there will be egg sandwiches, drinks and coffee available.

Proceeds will benefit Fraternal Order of Police.

The Allen Township summer movie lineup continues. The next movie will be “Grease,” set for Aug. 16 at Covered Bridge Park, 100 Covered Bridge Road.

All movies are family events, with free admission, and begin at sunset. The township is offering free popcorn and water. Bring your lawn chair and/or blanket.

Donations are greatly appreciated, so the township can hold future movie events.

Zion’s Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road, Kreidersville, is hosting a free outdoor movie night starting 8 p.m. Aug. 16. The featured movie will be “Monsters Inc.”

The concession stand will be open.
