July book sale at the BAPL

The Bethlehem Area Public Library’s July book sale raked in another $9,455 to bring the 2024 sales total to $37,044, after the first four sales. Book sale coordinator Laurel Stone says the income earned in July was average for that particular month’s summer sale. The next sale will be held Wednesday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 20. The Chichesters, mom Leah and sons Jude and Zach, visited the July 20 sale and flash some of the purchases made that day out on the Library’s porch. Mom searched for farming, gardening and history titles, Jude was interested in classics, philosophy and nutrition, and Zach’s interests were gardening, religious, spiritual and inspirational. They are from Easton.
