Parkland Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 12 at Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield.

Doors open 6:30 p.m. for socialization and refreshments.

The program, “Petal Pushers,” will be presented by Heidi Devlin, owner of Petal Pushers Floral Co., Tamaqua.

She will explain the process of making cold pressed soaps and using flowers to make decorative bars of soap.
