A 40-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged June 1 with alleged simple assault and harassment after a disturbance in the 1400 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police.

Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer

A 40-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged June 15 with allegedly fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and multiple traffic offenses during an incident beginning in the 1700 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police.

DUI crash

A 52-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged June 7 with allegedly driving under the influence and careless driving after a motor vehicle accident in the 1100 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police.

Robbery

An unknown male physically took a package that was just delivered from another person’s hands at a location in the 1000 block of Buckingham Drive, according to Salisbury police. The male then ran to a nearby vehicle and fled the area. This incident was reported June 12.

Theft

A 23-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged June 20 with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after he was seen allegedly taking a package from a residence in the 800 block of East Montgomery Street, according to Salisbury police. The male was apprehended a short time later, according to authorities.

Someone removed a package containing an electronic item, valued at $1,600, delivered to a location in the 3500 block of Pleasant Drive, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported June 18.

A resident of the 1100 block of East Susquehanna Street learned inspection stickers were removed from a package. The incident was reported June 13.

DUI

A 27-year-old male, of Easton, was charged May 26 with allegedly driving under the influence and traffic offenses after a traffic stop in the 800 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police.

A 19-year-old male, of Whitehall, was charged May 28 with allegedly driving under the influence and a traffic offense after a traffic stop in the 2800 block of South Pike Avenue, according to Salisbury police.

A 56-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged May 30 with allegedly driving under the influence, driving while operating privilege is suspended (DUI related) and general lighting requirements after a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Broadway, according to Salisbury police.

A 22-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged June 7 with allegedly driving under the influence and general lighting requirements after a traffic stop in the 1800 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police.

A 31-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged June 8 with allegedly driving under the influence and driving on roadways laned for traffic after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police.

A 41-year-old-female, of Allentown, was charged June 9 with allegedly driving under the influence and driving on roadways laned for traffic after a traffic stop in the 1000 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police.

A 60-year-old male, of Wescosville, was charged June 20 with allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Lehigh Street, according to Salisbury police.

Criminal mischief

Someone scratched an offensive word into the paint of a vehicle while it was parked in the 3100 block of Capital Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported May 29.

A resident of the 600 block of East Lexington Street discovered six tires on three trailers were flattened over two days, according to Salisbury Police. The incident was reported June 5.

Fraud

A person sent $360 via an Apple Card to pay toward rent for a home in the 500 block of East Montgomery Street he was interested in, according to Salisbury police. The contact for the rental then became unreachable.The incident was reported May 27.

A resident of the 1100 block of Patricia Drive sent two Zelle transactions for a total of $1,000 through social media to someone the resident believed to be a friend for the purchase of a vehicle, according to Salisbury police. The resident later learned the friend’s social media account had been hacked and the money was sent to an unknown person. The incident was reported June 1.

Scam

A resident of the 700 block of Yorkshire Road received a “deposit” from a fraudulent source and was asked to send part of the deposit via Apple Pay. The deposit then disappeared and the resident was hit with an overdraft fee, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported June 13.

A resident of the 2700 block of Andrea Drive was asked to send two Apple gift cards to an unknown “investigator” who was supposedly looking into fraudulent purchases, according to Salisbury police. The gift card numbers were provided to the fake investigator. The incident was reported June 18.

Vehicle theft

A red 2020 Kia Sportage SUV was removed from a location in the 600 block of Crestline Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported June 16.
