National Night Out, hosted by Lehigh Township Police Department, is set for 6 p.m. Aug. 6 at Indian Trail Park, 3821 Lehigh Drive, Pennsville. This is a great time to meet your police and other first responders while enjoying the evening with fellow community members.

Lehigh Township Historical Society will hold gravestone preservation workshops.

The sessions will be 10 a.m.-noon Aug. 17 and 3-5 p.m. Sept. 8. Take part in a hands-on basic gravestone cleaning demonstration.

If rain is in the forecast on the scheduled day or the next day, the workshop may need to be rescheduled.
