Janice L. Mikylychak, 93, of Allentown, died on July 18, 2024, at home.

She was the widow of Richard B. Mikylychak.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Miriam (Reimert) Wetherhold.

She graduated from Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in 1951 and was a registered nurse in the operating room for 15 years before becoming the operating room supervisor in 1982 at Allentown General Hospital.

She enjoyed antiquing.

Her survivors include daughters Lynne Beitler (Dan) of Alburtis and Lori Snyder (Tom) of Kingswood, Texas; grandchildren Andrew Beitler (Tiffany) of Minnetrista, Minn., Ian Beitler (Becca) of Emmaus, and Lydia Truty (Zach) of Addison, Texas; five great-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, due in February; sisters-in-law Carol Martin (Michael) of Allentown and Grace Keller (Gilbert) of Macungie; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Ned, and in-law Eleanor and Richard Reimert, Vera and Darwin “Buddy” Marshall, and Dorothy “Zelda” and David Diehl.
