Alice M. Paukovits, 89, of Coplay, died July 27, 2024, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Thomas L. Pudelka and the late Francis Paukovits.
Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late John and Amelia (Neimeister) Drgon.
She graduated from Palmerton High School.
She worked for the former Grant’s Department Store, Palmerton, and then worked part time in a secretarial position split between the former Seigel’s Department Store and Charles Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton, for 10 years. In the mid-1980s, she took a full-time secretarial position with Nationwide Insurance, Palmerton, before retiring in 2000.
She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.
She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church’s Young at Heart group, Northampton.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas J. Pudelka and wife Dawn of Palmerton and Michael Pudelka and wife Maryrose of Quakertown; a daughter, Pamela M. and husband David Reznick of Northampton; a stepdaughter, Michelle and husband Joseph Slivko of Bethlehem; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Anna Vicario and Olga Mudry; and a stepson, Francis “Paco.”
There will be a calling time noon-1 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 1 p.m., Aug. 1 at the church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
