Country Doctor Veterinary Hospital, New Tripoli, has received accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association.

Only 15 percent of veterinary hospitals are AAHA accredited.

Country Doctor met or in some cases exceeded hundreds of standards covering all aspects of veterinary care and business.

The veterinary hospital will celebrate with the community 3-6 p.m. July 26.

There will be free food, “Dunk the Doc” Dunking Tank, Kona Ice, face painting, games and prizes.

The Northwestern Lehigh Educational Foundation will host its annual golf tournament on Aug. 9 at Olde Homestead Golf Club, New Tripoli.

Tournament begins with a 7:30 a.m. breakfast and a 9 a.m. shot- gun start.

Participants are invited to form their own team for the 4-person scramble and compete for coveted prizes, all while supporting educational programs in the Northwestern Lehigh School District.

You don’t have to register as a team for the 4-person scramble.

NWLEF will group individuals into teams or just name at least one other member of your team for proper grouping.
