Pearl E.P. Hirschel, 97, of Whitehall, died July 17, 2024. She was the wife of the late Paul L. “Augie” Hirschel for 68 years.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Coombs.

She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia L.; two grandchildren, Erica Ford and Mitchell Koenig; and five great-grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Micaela, Julian and Lucas.

She was predeceased by a son, Paul M.; and four siblings, Etoile Bartholomew, Lorraine Clauser and Alexander and David Coombs.

There will be a calling time noon, followed by a funeral service 1 p.m., July 26 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall.
