1960 Emmaus H.S. graduate
Jerome A. “Jerry” Yandle, 82, of Allentown, died July 19, 2024, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Emmaus, He was the loving husband of the late Mary Catherine (Boyle) Yandle for 45 years. He was the son of the late William J. and Agnes R. (Tomasovic) Yandle.
He graduated from Emmaus High School in 1960.
He worked as a mechanic for Mack Trucks and the Allentown Parking Authority.
He was a member of St. Ann’s Church, Emmaus.
He is survived by children, Michael, Scott and his wife, Deborah, Michele Rowlands and her husband, Scott; grandchildren, Christian (Taylor), Taylor (Gabriel), Garrett (Summer), Nathan, Haley; great-granddaughter, Emma; brothers, William R., Anthony J. (Linda), James M.; sisters, Bonita Rhodes, Sheila R. Medernach (Jonathan), JoAnn M. (Mark Sabiers). He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Jacqueline.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. July 25 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing will be held 10-11 a.m.
