As a nice incentive, the cash prize per game will be increased. Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle and a piggy number.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be collecting backpacks, calculators and school supplies for Whitehall-Coplay School District students this month. A list of items needed can be found in the July newsletter or on the table in the coatroom area next to the sanctuary.

The deadline to receive items is July 28.

Whitehall Active Community Center will host the Whitehall Fire Department July 30, beginning 12:30 p.m. Firefighters will speak and/or answer questions regarding fire safety.

Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome to attend.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will be celebrating Food Pantry Sunday 9:30 a.m. Aug. 4.

The congregation will recognize and give thanks to food pantry donors and volunteers. All are welcome.

All volunteers, especially those who assist on the third Monday of the month, are invited to attend worship or just enjoy fellowship and an 11 a.m. potluck lunch.

On that Sunday, bring a nonperishable item; you’ll need it during intercessory prayers. If it’s in your wheelhouse, bring a dish to share.

St. John’s UCC will be holding a community yard sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 10 at the pavilion.

There is a price for tables. Checks should be made payable to St. John’s UCC, Fullerton.
