Strangulation

Nathan Aaron Weida, 40, of Emmaus, was arrested June 18 for alleged strangulation, simple assault and harassment after an incident in the 300 block of Golden Street, according to Emmaus police.

Simple assault

Miguel Santos, 43, of Emmaus, was arrested June 12 for alleged simple assault and harassment after an incident in the unit block of South 10th Street, according to Emmaus police.

DUI

Jay Richard Geiger, 61, of Macungie, was arrested June 2 in the 500 block of Harrison Street for allegedly driving under the influence and careless driving, according to Emmaus police.

John Joseph Cherhit IV, 23, of Bethlehem, was arrested June 8 in the area of North Third and Main streets for allegedly driving under the influence and display of registration plate obscured, according to Emmaus police.

Clayton Thomas Chemnitz, 20, of Center Valley, was arrested June 16 in the area of South Sixth and Chestnut streets for allegedly driving under the influence, careless driving and a traffic control signal violation, according to Emmaus police.

Richard Lee Mack, 59, of Topton, was arrested June 19 in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street for allegedly driving under the influence, illegally operating a motor vehicle not equipped with ignition interlock, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked and required financial responsibility, according to Emmaus police.

Retail theft

Guillermo A. Cortes-Pareja, 38, of Allentown, was arrested June 13 for retail theft after alleged multiple thefts at a business in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police.

Fadil Metolli, 49, of Emmaus, was arrested June 23 for alleged retail theft after an incident at a business in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police.

Simple possession

Gary Proano-Iturralde, 32, of Allentown, was arrested June 22 for alleged simple possession and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked after an incident in the 400 block of Jubilee Street, according to Emmaus police.

Small amount of marijuana

Yareliz Mary Gonzalez Carrion, 20, of Allentown, was arrested June 22 in the 200 block of Main Street for allegedly having a small amount of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and windshield obstructions, according to Emmaus police.

Bryan Isaac Ramos Marin, 20, of Easton, was arrested June 14 for allegedly having a small amount of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privilege is suspended after an incident in the area of East Harrison Street and Dalton Street, according to Emmaus police.

Harassment

Brian Kelley, 53, of Emmaus, was arrested June 16 for alleged harassment following an incident in the 300 block of Powder Mill Lane, according to Emmaus police.

A 16-year-old female, of Allentown, was cited June 30 for two counts of alleged harassment and disorderly conduct after an incident in the 1400 block of Shimerville Road, according to Emmaus police.

Criminal trespass

A 21-year-old person, of Emmaus, was arrested June 30 for alleged criminal trespass and having a small amount of marijuana after an incident in the 300 block of Furnace Street, according to Emmaus police.

Criminal mischief

A 14-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested June 21 for alleged criminal mischief in excess of $1,000 after an incident in the 600 block of Walnut Street, according to Emmaus police.

A vehicle was vandalized in the 900 block of Eagle Drive, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported June 24.

Tobacco on school property prohibited

A 15-year-old male, of Allentown, was cited June 5 for alleged violation of tobacco on school property prohibited after an incident at Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Ave., according to Emmaus police.

Burglary

Numerous items including tools and motorcycles valued at more than $35,000 were removed from an unlocked garage in the 600 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported June 17.

Stolen vehicle

A motorcycle was removed from a location in the 300 block of Broad Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported June 11.

Theft from vehicle

A license plate was removed from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Eagle Drive, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported June 12.

Found property

An iPhone smartphone was found in the 500 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported June 24 and the phone was taken to Emmaus Police Department headquarters, 400 W. Jubilee St.

A black cellphone was found in Emmaus Community Park, Shimerville Road, July 6, according to Emmaus police. The phone was taken to Emmaus Police Department headquarters, 400 W. Jubilee St.
