Diane I. Szerencsits, 84, of Northampton, died July 16, 2024, in her home. She was the wife of Joseph Szerencsits for 60 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mae (Lindenmoyer) Suranofsky. She was one of four sets of twins.

She was employed in the elder care industry, working for various institutions and later was a reading lady at Our Lady of Hungary School for several years.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Women’s Guild and enjoyed volunteering for the local food bank.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, David, Joseph and wife Catherine and Matthew and wife Colleen; seven grandchildren, Lauren, Joseph IV, Andrew, Ethan, Olivia, Siobhan and Ciara; a great-grandson, Owen; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by 13 siblings, Milton, Marianne, Frank, Franklin, Donald, Jacqueline, Jack, Martin, Elizabeth, Rita, Dennis, Peter and Larry.
