Corinne M. Heintzelman, 87, formerly of Slatington, died July 22, 2024, in Fellowship Community where she was residing.

The wife of the Rev. Russell L.J. Heintzelman, the couple was married 68 years.

Born March 15, 1937, in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Clayton E. and Josephine M. (Worman) Miller.

She was a licensed practical nurse at several nursing homes and hospitals throughout the Lehigh Valley for many years before retiring.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Slatington.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by sons Michael E. Heintzelman of Germansville, David T. Heintzelman of Slatington, and Stephen M. Heintzelman of Bethlehem; sister Carol H. Kanas and her husband, Joseph, of Walnutport; granddaughters Amanda N. and Carley B. Heintzelman; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Priscilla J. Chestnutt.

Her memorial service will be 1 p.m. July 27 at St. John’s UCC, 15 S. Second St., Slatington.

Family and friends may pay their respects noon-1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
