Jason Gehret, of Nazareth, takes his turn at bat for Team Cole, one of 16 teams participating in the Brandon Sommer Wiffle Ball Tournament. The 13th annual tournament was held July 20 in conjunction with Community Days. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Brandon Sommer Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides a scholarship to a Northampton Area High School wrestler.

A spectacular fireworks grand finale brings the event to a close. The festival is sponsored annually by Northampton Exchange Club.
