Robert M. Skrip, 81, of Breinigsville, died July 7, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

The beloved husband of Linda M. (Strauss) Skrip, the couple was married 59 years.

Born May 26, 1943, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John Skrip Sr. and Olga (Orban) Skrip.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Penn State University, Class of 1965.

He was a registered professional civil engineer and owned the former Berkleigh Excavating Company Inc., Kutztown, for 39 years before retiring in 2008.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter, Abbie Lin Muto and her husband, Rudy, of Kutztown; son Robert M. Skrip Jr. of Orefield; and granddaughter Josslin H. Muto of Kutztown.

He was predeceased by his brother John Skrip Jr.

A private memorial service will be held at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Schnecksville.

There will be no public calling hours.
