Robert F. Stokes, 75, of South Whitehall Township, died July 7, 2024, in his home.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Donald A. Stokes Sr. and Sara M. (Huss) Yost.
A graduate of William Allen High School, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was a welder for the Dana Corporation, Reading, for many years.
Later, he worked in HVAC.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
His survivors include a son Robert J. Stokes of Center Valley; ex-wife Ellen C. (O’Donnell) Stokes; brother Donald A. Stokes Jr. of Allentown.
He was predeceased by his brother David A. Stokes and sister Susan F. Stokes.
He will be laid to rest with military honors 10 a.m. July 26 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003.
Those who wish to attend his service are asked to arrive at the cemetery before 10 a.m. and line your cars up behind the office building at the grouping area.
An attendant will lead all cars back to the service area promptly at 10 a.m.
