July 19
Wildlands Conservancy’s Stream Team welcomes volunteers to help with projects in Emmaus Community Park, Shimerville Road, Emmaus, 8 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will help remove invasive vegetation, maintain tubes placed around young trees to protect them from deer and straighten and re-stake trees if necessary. Such efforts help improve water quality, reduce erosion and flooding concerns and provide habitat for wildlife, according to organizers. Visit the website www.wildlandspa.org for details.

The Lower Macungie Township free summer concerts and entertainment series continues with a concert at the Hills at Lock Ridge Park Bandshell, 7125 Scenic Drive, Macungie. Enjoy Flamin’ Dick and the Hot Rods 6-8:30 p.m.
July 20 and 21
The Emmaus Historical Society will be participating in Passport to History weekend at the three historical houses of Emmaus, the 1803 House, the Knauss Homestead and the Shelter House. The society will have a table with historical artifacts on display. Times at each site vary for each day of the weekend.
July 21
Concert at Emmaus Community Park featuring The Large Flowerheads 6-8 p.m.
Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury celebrates its 265th anniversary with a 10:15 a.m. service followed by a noon luncheon. A photo will be taken to commemorate the event. Call Louise at 484-456-1148 for more information and planning purposes.
July 26
The Lower Macungie Township free summer concerts and entertainment continues with concerts at the Hills at Lock Ridge Park Bandshell, 7125 Scenic Drive, Macungie. Enjoy the classic rock band Rustix 6-8 p.m.

Concert at Emmaus Community Park featuring The Stacy Gabel Band 6-8 p.m.
Macungie Band concert at the Victorian band shell 7:30 p.m. in Allentown’s West Park at 15th and 16th streets between Linden and Turner streets. In case of inclement weather, the program will be moved to the Active Life Center, 1633 West Elm St., Allentown. There are many benches in front of the band shell and plenty of room for lawn chairs under big shade trees. Aug. 2-4
The 61st annual Das Awkscht Fescht will be held in Macungie Memorial Park. The featured car this year is the Ford Mustang. The event traditionally includes kids entertainment and activities, a petting zoo, a flea market, a juried craft show and music performances. Visit the website awkscht.com for details.

Mopar Madness of the Lehigh Valley will host a cruise night 5-8 p.m. at Emmaus Community Park, Shimerville Road. Also Aug. 31. All cruise nights are weather permitting.
