Melinda Margaret Lacey, 62, of Catasauqua and formerly of Langhorne, died July 12, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of James P. Lacey for 26 years.

Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of Diane (Gilbert) of Bensalem and the late Walter Roland Vandegrift.

She graduated from Neshaminy Langhorne High School, where she was nominated homecoming queen.

Most recently, she was a business manager for Willow Ridge Apartments and was awarded the Employee of the Year for 2023.

The 3D Dance Studio family was a big part of her life, assisting with dance events and competitions.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by five daughters, Julia Logan Lacey and fiance Alec Hartranft, Courtney Elizabeth Madewell, Emma Alexandra, Brittany Anne Thomas and husband Morgan and Victoria Elizabeth Danner and husband Brian; a sister, Lori Scott and husband Chris; six grandchildren, Jackson Madewell, Luna and Kaiba Danner and Tanner, Presley and Tate Thomas; a niece, Allie Brown and husband John; a nephew, Shane Brown; a great-niece Vivienne; and a great-nephew, Jack Brown.
