Come into the library and see our Adventure Begins at Your Library summer reading program decorations. Kid, teen, adult and family gift baskets are also on display.

While there, you can sign up for the 2024 program. Each week will have a different adventure theme. Register at coplaypubliclibrary.beanstack.com and fill out the form. You can register as an individual or a family. If you have used Beanstack before, just sign in and register for the all ages reading and activity challenges. To track your reading and activities, click on log reading and activities. You can also sign up at home.

Adults and families can also join the passport program. This program encourages adult patrons and families to visit other LCLC libraries. You can win a special passport basket at each library. If you visit six libraries, you will be entered into a grand-prize drawing for an iPad.

For more information about the program, call the library at 610-262-7351 or come in.

Once you start reading, you can collect raffle tickets for reaching reading levels and doing activities. You could be a lucky winner of a gift basket!

The library is collecting food and personal and toiletry items for Whitehall-Coplay School District’s Snack Pack Pals program. These items are sent home during long weekends with students who have severe hunger needs to help them have something to eat before they return to school.

Place your donations in the box located in the inside entrance to the library. We will be collecting donations throughout July.

For more information, call the library.

Teens and adults, the Fiber Arts and Friends group meets 1-2 p.m. Wednesdays. Learn to crochet, knit and more. All skill levels are welcome!

If you have any gently read books, puzzles or working CDs or DVDs and would like to donate them to the library, you do not have to wait until the fall or spring book sales to do so. We accept donations all year.

The library is also looking for large to medium baskets in like-new shape for raffle baskets.

See our donations policy on our website, coplaypubliclibrary.org. For your safety, drop off donations at the circulation desk during open hours.

If you want to know if you have a book that has monetary value before donating it, try starting with bookfinder.com.

If you plan to do some reading during the summer, check out our selection of fiction and nonfiction books for sale. We also have CDs and DVDs.

Look for them on the shelves below the circulation desk and on the sale cart. Ask at the desk if you need assistance.
