Betty Jean Pizzola, 83, better known as Jeanie, died July 6, 2024, in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Larry Anderson and Anthony Pizzola. Born in Clearfield County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Cora (Dunlap) MacTavish.

She was baptized in 1957 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and spent her life serving God. She spent her early years in Munson, then York, then for the past three years at Legacy Place, Allentown, where she received outstanding care.

She was part of the Spring Grove congregation for many years, even remotely after her move to Allentown.

She worked as a seamstress for most of her life.

She will be remembered as a kindhearted, joyful person, who took care of her family and maintained excellent friendships with her many friends.

She is survived by brothers, Thomas MacTavish, of Lance, Gary MacTavish, of Howard; sister, Diane Flinchbaugh, of Wallkill, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, many devoted friends.
