Allen/East Allen townships: Zion’s Stone to show movie
Zion’s Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road, is hosting a free outdoor movie night featuring “Moana,” scheduled for 8 p.m. July 19. Bring blankets or chairs.
The concession stand will be open.

The Allen Township summer movie lineup is here. The second movie of the season will be “The Migration” July 19 at Howertown Park, 10 Short Lane.
All movies are family events with free admission. The township is offering free popcorn and water. Bring your lawn chair and/or blanket.
Donations are greatly appreciated, so the township can hold future movie events.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will hold its next breakfast July 21 for members and their guests. There is a cost.

The ninth annual Northampton Area School District Student Council car show is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 27 at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane, East Allen Township. The rain date is July 28.
All makes, models and years of cars, trucks, motorcycles and antique tractors are welcome. There will be dash plaques for the first 100 preregistered cars.
Registration will be held 9 a.m.-noon, and awards start 3 p.m. There will be 35 awards.
The event will also include door prizes, a tricky tray, food, deejay and a craft and flea market. All proceeds will benefit Student Council.

July is Passport to History Month. Dozens of historic sites in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding counties invite you to step back in time with free admission, tours, activities and programs for visitors of all ages.
Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, has a free event as part of Passport to History. There will be crafts for children and adults and an open house and museum tour 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 20.
Horner’s Cemetery Historical Society, 4955 Nor-Bath Blvd., is offering a free gift with every tour. Tours are by appointment only. Call Peggy at 610-984-4532.

Lappawinzo is hosting its first Back the Blue bike ride Aug. 10. It will start at the association and end in Lehighton.
