St. Anne’s School 2024 Golf Tournament Aug. 9

St. Anne’s School golf tournament, which attracted 100 golfers last year, returns to the Bethlehem Municipal Golf Course Aug. 9. The tournament raises funds for special projects at St. Anne’s School, which is turning 75 this year. This year the goal is to replace the floor of the parish’s community center, which doubles as the school’s lunch room.

St. Anne’s School offers a Catholic education to 301 children from age 3 through grade 8, 18 percent of whom are from non-Catholic families.

There are several ways for one to participate in the fundraiser. You can sign up as a golfer and have a great day playing golf at the local course (which is in great shape BTW). Sign up at birdease.com/27340/register as a foursome, threesome, twosome or just a single and you’ll be paired up with others.

You can go the extra yard and sponsor a hole (birdease.com/27340/sponsorships) or donate a raffle prize or simply make a contribution online to support the kids at St Anne’s.

An excellent Italian meal will be provided at the end of the day’s play. Raffle prizes awarded to golfers in last year’s tournament included multiple $100 plus gift cards from area merchants, including Tanczos Beverages, American Hairlines, Cantelmi Hardware, Martelucci’s Pizza and several others. In 2023 it seemed like everyone walked away with a smile and a nice gift basket in hand.

Besides the raffle prizes, awards were given last year for the top place finishers. First prize was a foursome pass at Steel Club. Other top-placed foursomes received free passes to Woodstone, Allentown Muni and Southmoore Golf Clubs. Everyone went home a winner in support of a worthy cause.

Tee time is 8 a.m. sharp. Registration starts at 7:15 a.m.

Register online at birdease.com/SASgolf2024 or contact Tom Green at biz555@ptd.net or call 610-730-3224.
