Guy Matthew Connelly, born on the stroke of midnight between Jan. 21 and Jan. 22, 1949, died July 8, 2024. Grown up in Winfield, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Frank and Dorothy Connelly. He was the husband of Robin Connelly for 46 years.

He graduated from Rahway HS. He earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering at Lehigh University.

He was an avid biker and explored the East Coast. He aimed to bike 4,000 miles each year, taking pictures at each 100-mile interval to document his adventures.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and their spouses, Erin (Chris Hnat), Ryan and Kevin (Brittany Anderson Connelly); a grandson, Griffin; a granddaughter, expected in the fall; a brother, Kevin Connelly (Tacie); two sisters-in-law, Janis Cash (Gene) and Leslie Sadlon (Barry); and six nieces and nephews.
