Diane M. Werkheiser
Diane M. Werkheiser, 80, of New Tripoli, died June 30, 2024, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.
She was the widow of Gary “Buck” Werkheiser.
Born in New Tripoli, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Marie (Leiby) Sittler.
A 1962 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, she worked alongside her husband at Alert Security Systems, New Tripoli, for many years.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading and fishing, and loved spending time at Lehman Lake Rod and Gun Club, Pike County, with her family and friends.
Her grandchildren’s favorite memories are baking cutout Christmas cookies, birthday shopping trips, eating ice cream and vacationing in Canada together.
Having the chance to see her youngest great-grandson, Uriah, walk brought her great joy and she loved talking with Titus.
She found peace in the verse Isaiah 41:10. Do not fear. Do not be anxious.
Her survivors include children Jodi Crawford and husband, Daryl, of New Tripoli, and Jason Werkheiser and wife, Isabelle, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; grandchildren Erin (Crawford) Vogelgesang and husband Nicholas, Riley Crawford and wife, Christin, and Molly Crawford; great-grandchildren Titus and Uriah; sister Wanda Sittler; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings William Sittler and Eleanor (Sittler) Loughran.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
