Arlene H. Greenawald, 92, formerly of Schnecksville, died July 1, 2024, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall, where she resided. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Greenawald Sr.

Born in Lynn Township, she was the daughter of the late Abner Henry Claude and Hilda Elizabeth (Long) Oswald.

She assisted her husband on their family farm for many years before retiring in 1989.

She was a former member of Central Grange and historical societies in the New Tripoli area.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall, where she was a member of 3M, the More Mature Members.

She is survived by five children, Dianne A. Challingsworth and husband Vaughn of Sanford, N.C., Cynthia H. Mariani of Indian Trail, N.C., Nancy R. Greenawald and husband Rick Ciotti of Bluemont, Va., Robert A. Jr. and wife Kerry of Schnecksville and Peggy E. Behney and husband Eugene Jr. of New Tripoli; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
