Eyer Middle School aide
Lois K. Haberstumpf, 88, of Emmaus, died June 23, 2024, in Mosser Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Edwin J. Haberstumpf. Born in Wilmington, Del., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Bertha (Pizor) Neave.
She worked as an aide at Eyer Middle School, retiring in 2006. Previously, she worked at Hess’s Department Store, Fenstermaker’s Market, Loch’s Jewelry Store and Rodale Manufacturing.
She was an active member of Emmaus Moravian Church, serving on the Sacristans Corp for 35 years, King’s Daughters for 52 years and enjoyed cooking and baking at the church.
She was a Girl Scout leader for Troop #32, active with the Emmaus Ambulance Corps and enjoyed camping and the beach.
She was actively involved and loved at Ridge Manor.
She is survived by a son, Mark A. and his wife, June, of Emmaus; daughters, Debra L. and her husband, John McGinnis, of Emmaus, Elaine J. and her husband, Al Kneller, of Emmaus, Lori A. and her husband, Michael Maurer, of Macungie; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Bette A. Hertzog, of Whitehall, Anita Dawn Fluke, of Port Orange, Fla.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. July 24 in Emmaus Moravian Church, 146 Main St., Emmaus. Please dress casual and colorful.
