Historic Bethlehem Museum and Sites: Burnside Plantation Blueberry Festival set for July 13, 14

The annual Burnside Plantation Blueberry Festival is back July 13 and 14.

The event is presented by Historic Bethlehem Museum and Sites. Hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. July 13 and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. July 14 at 1461 Schoenersville Road.

Activities include food; live music; outdoor games such as can jam, cornhole, giant chess and ladderball; live demonstrations; colonial cooking; gardening; barns and garden tours; local crafters; and the Barn Shoppe.

There is a new blueberry tavern where Christmas City and Xplorer Spirits will feature ticketed tastings and full-size pours from Lehigh Valley producers and distributors.

There is a pie-eating contest for ages 16 and up and a junior contest for ages 15 and under, set for 2:15 p.m. both days.

Additionally, there is a culinary contest for both age categories. There are adult and junior best blueberry dessert culinary contests.

The pre-order market-to-go is scheduled for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 12.
