Edna Elizabeth Gardner

formerly of Bethlehem

Edna Elizabeth Gardner, 92, of Painesville Township, Ohio, died June 7, 2024, at home. She was the wife of the late Henry S. Gardner for 50 years.

Born in Trenton, N.J., she was a daughter of the late James and Hilda (Schisler) Hartley. She lived most of her life in Bethlehem until moving to Ohio in 2002.

She was a homemaker most of her life, working periodically in various clerical positions.

She is survived by two sons, Douglas of Painesville and Richard and wife Lisa of Hellertown; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Hartley Sr. and wife Claire; and a nephew, Robert Hartley Jr.

There will be a calling time 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service 10:30 a.m., July 18 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.
