Down week for local teams in summer hoops

It was a quiet week in the Lehigh Valley High School Boys Summer Basketball League with only one game due to the Fourth of July.

Northampton and Catasauqua dropped their only encounters of the week, as Catty fell to Salisbury 55-46 and Northampton lost to Wilson West Lawn 49-48.

In the most notable game of the week, Executive topped Parkland 64-57 in overtime, as Jayden Shipley led the way with 16 points.
