The borough’s free summer concert series continues. The John Cannova Band will perform 7-10 p.m. July 12 at the amphitheater at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

Additionally, there will be youth music and a magician at the amphitheater July 13.

Get out your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun night.

The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church will meet 10 a.m. July 15 at the church, 604 Fourth St.

The speaker will be Lois McAllister, from Twilight Wish Foundation. The group will also be making plans for meetings for the rest of the year.

Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine Street, will be offering its monthly free community lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m. July 15.

Come on out for some great food and camaraderie with fellow Catasauqua residents.

The Friends of Catasauqua Parks will be holding its next meeting 6:30 p.m. July 17 at borough hall, 90 Bridge St.

The group meets the third Wednesday of each month. The mission is to improve the quality of life of Catasauqua residents through recreational fundraising events to sustain borough parks.

The group is always looking for new volunteers and members. There are no costs to join this group.
