Brenda A. Henning, 75, died June 24, 2024, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Roger W. Henning, of Allentown.

She was a daughter of the late Jean (Buster) and Stanley Schenkel.

She was a Catasauqua High School Class of 1956 graduate.

She worked at PP&L Electric from 1990 until her retirement in 2013. Earlier, she worked at Com Com in Allentown.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Catasauqua, where she served as a lector and block party volunteer.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Heidi; a brother, Bruce Schenkel and wife Sandy; three sisters, Janel Keller and husband Ed, Denise Sharkazy and husband William and Rosell Shamory and husband Craig; and nieces and nephews.
