Alexander A. Gorski Jr. BASD supply clerk

Alexander “Al” A. Gorski Jr., died on July 4, 2024, in his home in Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Alexander Gorski Sr. and Elizabeth (Morrison) Gorski. He was the husband of the late Elaine J. (Costas) Gorski for 63 years.

He was in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War.

He was an insurance agent with Prudential for 23 years before he retired in 1990. He was a supply clerk for the Bethlehem Area School District for 11 years.

He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.

He was involved with the former American Legion, post 0611, Easton. He knitted items to donate to the homeless and disadvantaged.

He is survived by a son, Michael A. and his wife Beverly of Brantford, Ontario, Canada; a daughter, Susan E. Berkenstock and her husband Kenneth of Bethlehem; a son, Thomas A. and his wife Diane of Discovery Bay, California; a daughter, Catherine Lambert of Allentown; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter Taylor; a brother, Frank Gorski; and a sister, Betty Lou Kilgour.
