Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, will host a summer penny party July 12.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Game starts at 7 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase.

The music will be performed by DJ Jason and there will be a 50/50 drawing.

Bring loose change to win great prizes while enjoying some fun, fellowship and music.

Vacation Bible School for all children will take place 6-8 p.m. July 23-26 at the church.

The church is accepting orders until July 14 for its R&K pretzel sandwich and sub sale.

Pretzel sandwiches available in chicken breast with Pepper Jack cheese, Italian, ham and cheese, ham and Swiss, turkey and cheese, roast beef and cheese, sweet Lebanon bologna and cheese, all cheese, chicken, egg, and tuna salad.

Subs available in spicy Italian with onions and peppers, Italian, ham, turkey, roast beef, American, with or without onions.

There also are 12-inch whole grain rolls with turkey and cheese with onion or all cheese and onion.

Pick up is 3-5 p.m. on July 24 at the church.

Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society, 4585 Werleys Corner Road, New Tripoli, will have its Farmers Market and Artisan Fair 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 20.

There will be farmers with produce and free grass-fed beef products, local vendors and artisans, including a bake sale.

The Good Egg food truck will be serving breakfast and lunch, and the Society’s Store will be open for shopping.

The buildings will be open with never displayed artifacts throughout the grounds, view the many displays and much more.
