Schnecksville Elementary School Student Council hosted “Schnecksville Shines on Lehigh K-9s” May 24 at the school.
K-9s from police departments throughout Lehigh County were on hand to display their skills as partners to area police officers.
The program was a fundraiser for Lehigh Valley K9s, a nonprofit that supports local police dogs.
“Let's play” says Lehigh County Sheriff's Office K-9 Nevie, a 9-year-old German Shepherd Dog to Zach Hilbert Schnecksville and son Landon, 6, at the “Schnecksville Shines on Lehigh K-9's” held on the elementary school grounds May 24. She was there with her handler Lehigh County Deputy Sheriff Rich Garner.
