Eileen E. Stinson, 76, of Emmaus, died June 15, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She and her husband, Richard C. Stinson, celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in November 2023.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late James and Hilda (Stein) Koch.
A Parkland High School graduate, she earned her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Kutztown University.
She was a second-grade teacher at Hereford Elementary School for more than 35 years before retiring in 2007.
She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she was a former choir member and Sunday School teacher.
She also taught English as a Second Language in Allentown.
She enjoyed traveling, including trips to Australia, Europe and South America.
She also enjoyed walking and the arts, including Broadway shows.
She loved babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Eric P. and his wife, Karen, of Bethlehem, Matthew J. and his wife, Candice, of Audubon, Mark D. and his wife, Kristina, of Center Valley; grandchildren Victoria, Laela, Evan, Parker, Andrew and David; and sister: Marianne Evans of Allentown.
She was predeceased by her sister Margaret Kistler.
