Moore Township: Environmental protection board scheduled to meet July 8
Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board next meets July 8. Meetings are held 7 p.m. at the township recreation center, 635 English Road. Consider joining this board as it labors to preserve the township’s rural character.

Moore Township Recreation Committee’s next meeting is set for 7 p.m. July 18 at the recreation center. The committee’s goals are to assist township children and families.

Bingo is held 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 5 p.m.
The night includes prizes, progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank and wash line bingo.

Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, hosts a Boy Scout Troop 74 meeting 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the social hall. Boy Scouts are for boys and girls 10 years old and older.
Additionally, the church hosts an array of activities. A celebration luncheon is being planned to honor the 20th anniversary of Pastor Brett’s ordination.
