Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., continues its Friday night concert series. The schedule includes American Street Band July 5, Smith Compound Band July 12, Ricky and the Rebels July 19 and Bad Influence July 26. Doors open 5 p.m.

St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., is planning a community movie night July 9, starting dusk. The featured movie is “Angels in the Outfield.”

Snacks and water will be provided. Bring a lawn chair or blankets to be comfortable.

The Saengerbund will continue to hold its dining on the terrace evenings July 10 and 24 and Aug. 21. The doors will open 5 p.m., the kitchen is open 5-8:30 p.m., and Scott Erikson plays an acoustic set 6-9 p.m.

Coplay Garden Club will meet 7 p.m. July 18 in the social hall at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St.

The tip of the month from the club: “Be sure to water your tomato plants frequently during a heat wave.”

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., is hosting a Vince’s Cheesesteak fundraiser 2-7 p.m. July 24 in the church parking lot. In addition to the food truck, there will be baked goods, soda and bottled water available for purchase.
