Allen/East Allen townships: Celtic studies scholarship application deadline is July 15

Celtic Cultural Alliance has announced several thousand dollars will be awarded in scholarships to students studying a Celtic art, such as music, dance, visual arts, literature and history. The application deadline is July 15.

Awards will be presented at Celtic Classic, scheduled for Sept. 29.

Executive Director Jayne Ann Recker said these scholarships support the mission of the CCA to promote and preserve Celtic culture by encouraging students to study a Celtic discipline. The scholarship is not based on an audition or financial need.
