John “JJ” Bellew, 62, of Bethlehem, died June 10, 2024, at his home. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John J. and Rose Marie (Guinta) Bellew.

He worked as an independent contractor for many years. Known as “The Valley Legend”, he was a musician and guitarist. He played in the rock band Washed which performed charity events for the local homeless community. He was in the Sarah Ayers Band and many other groups.

He is survived by three sisters, Marilyn O’Fallon, Donna Davidson and husband Joseph and Jennifer Runyon and husband Kimzey; four nephews, Patrick O’Fallon, Joseph and Erik Davidson and Justin Runyon; and a niece, Donielle Davidson.
