Cecile G. Wright, 83, of Whitehall Township and Fellowship Community, died June 24, 2024. She was the wife of the late Samuel N. Wright for 57 years.

Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Franklin T. and Verletta (Green) Henry.

She was a 1958 graduate of Liberty High School and a graduate of Allentown School of Nursing.

She worked at Muhlenberg Hospital, Bethlehem, for more than 30 years.

She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath, and the former Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schoenersville.

She was a member of Whitehall Women’s Club and Pocono Painters.

She is survived by a daughter, Beth Smith and husband Tom; a son, Eric and wife Mary Jo; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Colleen Cox.

She was predeceased by a son, Wesley.
